Download a Free Windows Server 2008 R2 Feature Poster
A while back we referred you to TechPosters, a site that's home to dozens of cheat sheet-style posters and reference guides on topics like Outlook 2007 and Exchange Server. Now Microsoft is getting in on the act: the Windows Server 2008 R2 Feature Components poster provides a complete visual reference for learning various technologies in WS 08 R2. Specifically, it focuses on Active Directory Domain Services, Hyper-V, Internet Information Services, Remote Desktop Services (including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)), BranchCache, and DirectAccess technologies. It also illustrates updates to core file services and server management. The poster is free; it's provided in PDF format. Just for the record, it's not to be confused with the Windows Server 2008 poster and Windows Server 2008 R2 Documentation Survival Guide available from TechPosters. But it's a fine complement to them! |
