The combination of Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 promises to be a potent one for enterprises, in part thanks to new features like DirectAccess. Over at ZDNet Asia, there's a brief but informative overview of what DirectAccess does, how it works, and why end users and IT administrators alike will likely flip over it. It's funny how the pendulum has swung the other way. It used to be that references to an unknown person were always "he," but now I'm seeing "she" a lot more. (Or, to put it in Arrested Development terms: "Her?")
