How to Use Vista's Snipping Tool

<a href="http://video.msn.com/?mkt=en-US&playlist=videoByUuids:uuids:41991158-5cf1-4646-8911-b0f59ed63b11&showPlaylist=true&from=msnvideo" target="_new" title="Windows Vista Demo: Snipping Tool">Video: Windows Vista Demo: Snipping Tool</a>

Windows has never been too swift at capturing screenshots--not without third-party software, anyway--but Vista more than makes up for it with its Snipping Tool. This handy, little-known feature lets you capture an image of your screen, a Web page, a document, or whatever, then save and/or send it.

Microsoft's Esther Choi, who you may remember from videos on Vista's Previous Versions and Instant Search features, shows you the finer points of using the Snipping Tool: choosing the kind of "snip" you want, adding highlights and comments, and e-mailing snips directly from the tool (as opposed to going through the usual hassles of creating a new message, finding and adding the attachment, etc.).

This is another great how-to video from Microsoft. In a manner of three minutes, you can learn everything you need to know about using a tool that most people don't even know they have. Well worth a look.
