While we're on the subject of RemoteFX (see yesterday's post on how it will change the virtualization game), why not enjoy a little face time with the technology?

Over at TechNet there's a video from the recent TechEd conference that shows RemoteFX in action with Windows Server 2008 R2. Specifically, you get to see AutoCAD 2011 running on a thin client.

The video's a little jerky, and I can't say the AutoCAD demo is all that exciting, but the Call of Duty stuff looks mighty impressive. And stick around for the slick "USB remoting" bit, which shows how a device like a cell phone can be connected to the VDI environment for tasks like copying files.
