Virtual Roundtable: Pilot and Deploy Windows 7

Mark Russinovich.jpgMark your calendars: This Friday, April 29, Microsoft Technical Fellow Mark Russinovich will host a discussion focusing on the planning, testing, assessing, and rollout of Windows 7 in enterprise organizations.

The event, a Microsoft Springboard Series Virtual Roundtable, is titled The Last Mile: Pilot and Deploy Windows 7. It'll be broadcast live on the Web at 9 a.m. PT.

Russinovich will be joined by a panel of IT professionals who are currently in the piloting and deployment process, along with Microsoft subject-matter experts who can speak in depth about the technologies.

Microsoft promises an "open and candid" discussion, with the panel "sharing insights, dispelling myths and getting down to the real story around technical adoption of Windows technologies."

Topics on the agenda include the role of the pilot and the critical information it provides, best practices for ensuring a successful effort, and tools and technologies that will help automate the pilot and deployment processes. Throughout the event, Russinovich will take questions submitted from Web participants worldwide.

Sounds like a must-attend event for any IT pro! Can't tune in to the live broadcast? No problem: You'll be able to stream the roundtable on-demand after it's over.
